Norgesskolen Cancellation Policy
The following cancellation policy applies to both Norgesskolen and Norgesskolen Winter.

The need for a concise and predictable cancellation policy has become evident throughout the COVID-19-pandemic. The infection rate and local restrictions can change very quickly. Therefore, travel advice may be issued for specific countries if major challenges related to the pandemic re-emerge.
The intention of this policy is to secure your registration with less concern for the unpredictable circumstances resulting from the covid-19 pandemic.

We encourage all participants to ensure they hold valid travel insurance prior to travelling to Norway and Norgesskolen.

If Norgesskolen is canceled
In the unfortunate event that Norgesskolen must be canceled you will receive a full refund. You may however choose to transfer the registration to the upcoming dates, as long as there are available slots.

If transferring registration from Norgesskolen Winter to summer, there will be a price adjustment for the difference in price but no additional fees.

If you wish to transfer registration from summer to Norgesskolen winter, please contact us via e-mail for details.

If the cancellation is due to few registrations, an alternative arrangement might be made available for you to accept or decline.

Cancellations caused by and due to COVID-19
You may request a full refund excluding an administrative fee of NOK 1.800:

If the government of origin country or the Norwegian government imposes a national or international travel ban, not enabling you to travel from country of origin or to Norway.

If regulations (e.g. prolonged quarantine etc.) is restricting the participant from traveling from the country of origin or to Norway as planned.

If the registered participant has tested positive for COVID-19, has become ill due to COVID-19, or is placed in quarantine due to COVID-19.
Cancellations due to the reasons above will be eligible for a full refund excluding an administrative fee of
NOK 1.800 provided documentation/information from a governmental webpage or a confirmation from medical provider stating travel restrictions or illness due to COVID-19 infection of the student. In any case you may transfer the registration to the upcoming dates, depending on availability. A price adjustment may apply.
If the registered participant needs to withdraw from Norgesskolen
Because of contractual commitments with our subcontractors, the following applies should you need to cancel the registration for reasons other than those stated above.
For Norgesskolen winter: prior to January 1st
For Norgesskolen summer: prior to May 1st
You may receive full refund of your payment, less administrative fee of NOK 1.800

Option: You may transfer the registration to upcoming dates (depending on availability. A price adjustment may apply)
For Norgesskolen winter: after January 1st
For Norgesskolen summer: after May 1st
Between January 1st and February 15th (winter) or May 1st and June 1st (summer):
You may be refunded 60% of the registration fee or you may transfer the registration to upcoming dates (subject to availability, a price adjustment may apply)
Between February 16th and 21st (winter) or June 2nd and July 17th (summer):
You may transfer the registration to upcoming dates (subject to availability, a price adjustment may apply)
